Warning: Nut Allergy Alert
We provide nut-free snacks for all camps when a known nut allergy exists.  Please be aware that if your child has a severe contact allergy (not an ingestion allergy) that some of the animals are fed nuts and peanut butter.  Our Zoo Camps are not a safe environment for children with severe contact allergies to nuts.  This affects all our camp programs as we go behind the scenes to various zoo keeper only locations.  Please inform the Zoo Society of any allergies your child may have.

 

Registration Procedure:
Please have the following ready when you phone to register your child(ren):

1) Your Visa or Mastercard number and expiry date.
2) Your child's hospitalization number
3) An emergency contact and phone number
4) Any allergies you child may have.
5) Your Saskatoon Zoo Society membership number if you are a member.

6) If you are registering for another family on the members’ only registration day (May 4), you will need their Saskatoon Zoo Society membership card number.

Wednesdays from September 8 – November 3 (no class Wednesday, October 20).

Join us for fun nature adventures as we experience

animals up close.  Make cool crafts, play fun games,

listen to stories and much more.  Enrolment is limited to 12 children.

2011 Winter Break Zoo Camp 

for 7 to 12 years old

February School Break 2011 (Wednesday to Friday)

9:00 a.m. -  4:00 p.m.

An exciting program for children age 7-12 years.

This three day camp is all about having fun with winter. We’ll help feed our socialized animals, participate in winter activities, and make some cool crafts. Bring a bag lunch, snacks are provided.

Cost:    $120/child for members 

            $135/child for non-members

2011 Summer Zoo Camps:

Registration for 2011 Summer Camps is currently closed. 

Watch our web site for updates when registration is open.

(Normally registration begins the first Monday in May)


Visa and Mastercard accepted.

Camps must be paid for at the time of registration.
A $25.00 administration fee is non-refundable.
Camp cancellations must be made prior to June 30, 2010 to receive a full refund (less the $25.00 administration fee).

“Before Care” and “After Care” are not provided at Summer Zoo Camps.

 

Bio-Bits

Week-long camp for children 7-10    (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day)

Bag lunch and snacks are required Monday-Thursday, lunch and snacks provided on Friday. 

Spend a week at the Zoo.  We’ll get to know our animal friends with help from the Saskatoon Zoo Society interpreters and Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo Zookeepers.  Lots of hand-on experiences, crafts, and games all designed to have fun at the Zoo.  Camp includes a campfire lunch on Friday.  Bag lunch and snacks are required.  Call 975-3395 for more information

 

 

Bio-Explorers  

Week-long camp for ages 11-14. 

Monday to Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

Thursday 9:00 a.m. to Friday 12:00 noon (Sleepover at the Zoo ends at 12:00 noon).

Bag lunch and snacks are required Monday-Thursday.  Supper is provided on Thursday.            

Breakfast is provided on Friday.

It’s a wild week with the Zoo Society.  We’ll get to know our animal friends with help from the Saskatoon Zoo Society interpreters and Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo Zookeepers. In this camp we’ll explore local conservation areas like Pike Lake, the Saskatoon Natural Grasslands, and Beaver Creek. Lots of hand-on experiences including a canoe excursion on the South Saskatchewan River.
